Well blogging wasn’t my thing, but I do like to try to learn how to do new things, and perhaps recording the learning journey will sometimes be helpful to others.
So, this blog will be about that. To begin, my history is as a system designer and application software writer. However, I have always been interested in the structures that support application programs.
In the past I have written software in various legacy languages such as Cobol and Fortran. These days I use PHP and JavaScript (Ooops I mean ECMAScript!)
I also have a reasonable acquaintance with LibreOffice.
In recent years I have used Linux Mint as my OS of choice, having abandoned Windows some number of years ago.
