Currently working on this project which includes the following components
- A wordpress post/page fetcher
- Convert a page/post (or other document) to a PHP object
- Convert PHP object to Dokuwiki Markdown (uses templates so other syntaxes possible too)
- Updater for Dokuwiki. This is currently directly updates Dokuwiki folders, but in future will use the Dokuwiki API for stability, and for independence from the Dokuwiki site.
- Will transfer wp-content (eg media files) and correctly link them
- Will honour floats and alignments
- Will convert tables
- Transfom list to convert Worpdress classes to Dokuwiki (WRAP) classes
- Transform templates to convert various tag types to dokuwiki (or other syntax)
- Will create an index page of the pages that have been transferred
- Can handle large numbers of pages.
- Can handle large numbers of media files (but may stumble over very large individual files)
