When you first register with BPJS, you have to specify the health centre (e.g. Puskesmas) that you will use to get medical care under BPJS. If you need to change this, you can, but only once.
NOTE: This will not work if the NIK on your BPJS health card is specified as ‘null’. i.e. If your KTP is KTP-OA (i.e. you are resident (ITAS/ITAP) but not Indonesian citizen)
Following are the steps for moving BPJS Kesehatan health facilities via online or the JKN (National Health Insurance) application:
1. Download or download the JKN mobile application on your cellphone (This seems conbtradictory. Above it say it can be done on-line, but here requires you to install an app)
2. Register by entering some personal information such as:

- Healthcare BPJS card number
- ID card number (KTP NIK)
- Date of birth
- Biological mother’s name
- BPJS Kesehatan account password online
- Phone number
3. Then enter or log in using the BPJS Health card number or e-mail that has been registered.
4. Select the “Change Participant Data” menu. Some data that can be changed online, namely:

- Number
- Health BPJS class
- Health Facility 1 (Remember! This change can only apply 1 time)
5. If you have selected the change health facility, a verification code will automatically be sent to the registered email or mobile number.
