We all have skills, but sometimes we need a skill we don’t have. Do you pay for someone to do the work for you, or do you learn how to do it yourself?
Learning a new skill can be a great way to kick start your life, especially after rough times. Teaching a skill can also be very rewarding. We are not offering to teach you a skill or to help you teach someone else, but what we can do is to help you find someone to teach or to learn from. That’s the purpose of this site.
To use the system, you will need to register and log in. That’s because we want to remember the answers you give so we can match you with others, who will probably not be on line at the same time as you. Steps to sharing:
- Tell us about your skill sharing choices (see the link below). We will remember your answers until you ask us to clear them.
- See whether you have a match with anyone else who has signed up. You find out who can help you or who you can help using the link at the bottom of this page. you can check this as often as you like.
- Ask us to let any of the people who match know you are interested to contact them and we will send them your email address and what interest you have in them so they can contact you.
IMPORTANT: Be aware, this service is ONLY to put you in touch with someone whose stated needs match yours. We do not guarantee anything. It is up to you to take care and make whatever checks you feel appropriate before making any binding commitment.
